Photographing New York Belly Dancers for more than ten years while taking dance classes and performing gave Susan an intimate view of this subculture during a time that the city had many ethnic clubs and dance studios. Her one-woman show of this work was exhibited at The Library and Museum for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center in NYC.
